Knowledge - The series explains consumer scams - identity theft, check and credit card fraud, and other cons - and describes favorite tricks and common processes used by these criminals.  The series sheds light on these crimes and includes review activities that reinforce learning, as well as preventive measures.

Empowerment - Each presentation includes a list of simple things you can do to protect yourself - from shredding old bank statements to keeping track of your credit history.
